Event planning can be stressful, and there’s definitely a reason why some freelance markets charge more for campaign planning for a specific event that needs to go perfectly — it’s a lot of work! However, when you have to make things happen in your small business, you don’t always have time to contract the “big guns” — you need to make it happen on your own. That can be scary, especially for businesses just getting started. However, it’s definitely a good thing, as it teaches valuable skills. All you really have to do is think about what you want to do most: create an impact and cause people to choose your event over others.

When you really want to sneak in and get under people’s natural objections, a series of postcards is actually the best way to go. Now, we say “series of postcards” because you don’t want to just send one. You want to make sure that you really send a whole range of postcards because people might not get the first one, or they need a little more information.

Since space is at a premium on a postcard, you need to make sure that you stick to the facts and keep your message light and playful, or short and straight to the point. Either effect will be beneficial for your audience, but you should pick one. generally speaking, if you’re trying to sell a serious product, you definitely want to come off that way on a postcard. It’s hard to sell medical supplies with humor, for example — some have done it, but it’s better to just focus on selling the facts.

Another tip that you need to keep in mind is that you really need to think about the timing of the postcards. Since you will be having these postcards built from scratch, you will need to give some time for those postcards to be created, as well as mailed out to all of your costs. In addition, if you need to rent a list, you will also need to set aside time for processing this task as well. That’s why event planners usually start the marketing of events so many weeks in advance before a major event, just to make sure that everything flows smoothly!

Overall, it’s a great time to turn to postcards for your next event — what will you create?

Good blog! I truly love how it is simple on my eyes and the data are well written. I’m wondering how I could be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your RSS which must do the trick! Have a nice day!
