Event planning can be stressful, and there’s definitely a reason why some freelance markets charge more for campaign planning for a specific event that needs to go perfectly — it’s a lot of work! However, when you have to make things happen in your small business, you don’t always have time to contract the “big guns” — you need to make it happen on your own. That can be scary, especially for businesses just getting started. However, it’s definitely a good thing, as it teaches valuable skills. All you really have to do is think about what you want to do most: create an impact and cause people to choose your event over others.
When you really want to sneak in and get under people’s natural objections, a series of postcards is actually the best way to go. Which of them do you most prefer and would like to possess, even if we talk just about sculptures? …um… But let us leave our preferences for a moment and learn about these miniature sculptures and their author.
Adam Beane sculpts these terrific figures only in a tremendously versatile material he developed which handles like clay when warm but is hard as a plastic when cool. His unique approach to sculpting involves the use of precise tools – surgical instruments. Known for dynamic compositions and realistic action poses, this artist makes well designed figures with such remarkable ease.

We are all familiar with the fact that plastic bags are the major pollutants nowadays. Discarded plastic carrying bags can be seen hanging from the branches of trees, settled amongst bushes or in gutters, as well as flying in the air on windy days. There is also too many litter found along river banks and coastlines, so animals and sea creatures are hurt and accidentally killed by all that rubbish. The population is warned by environmentalists about all the damages that our contemporary consumer society can cause. However, it is not always easy to find a good solution. Eventually, we can contribute by recycling, choosing biodegradable bags or reusing bags when shopping.
Some artist found plastic bags as a basic material for their artworks or everyday items. Carpets, curtains, bags, garments or even sculptures and lamps can be made. (more…)
Over the last several years Cath Riley has developed new skills, especially the use of pencil on paper. According to her words, those pencil drawings are part of an on-going evolutionary process of exploration and development and just have a purpose to outline a particular phase in her abilities an understanding.
There are various kinds of drawings based around the human figure. Some of them represent celebrities, others shows imaginary situations that are done by unknown characters. Her drawings are entirely realistic and reveal a work of an original and creative artist.
Many of her drawings to date have been exhibited, and many commissioned, some privately, others for use in magazine features and advertising. She announced new, abstract works which will appear in the near future.
Wedding traditions and customs vary largely between cultures, religions or ethnic groups. Moreover, some differences can be noticed among celebrations in western countries, but they are often defined by the preferences of the certain couple. In order to organise an unforgettable wedding party, newly weds are likely to alter many of the traditional ceremonies. Some of those diversities we can see in the following pictures…
