Can you imagine life without music? Well, for me it could be impossible because every day, exactly, every part of my day is filled with music. I think that it is the same situation with many others. We have a really huge pallet of various kinds of music and everyone can found some interesting genre. Music can be obsession even to that extent that many people collect musical instruments, present music gifts or music stickers.

This is normal, because music has existed since the earliest periods of human history. First, there was only the vocal form, and later humans created instruments in order to imitate the sounds of nature. The songs were often associated with religious rituals, and it was continued through the Middle Ages because the Church recognised the great manipulative power of music. Then was created the Gregorian chant which experiences a revival in the late twentieth century. The greatest influence on the music of that time were monks until the Renaissance (fourteenth – sixteenth century). Famuos composers in the Renaissance were Giovanni da Palestrina and Orlando di Lasso. Art has flourished with the financial assistance of the rich. After the Renaissance, we recognise the era of baroque with its great composers such as Bach and Handel. Secular musicians wrote operas, and spiritual composers oratories. All this enabled the perfect foundation for the emergence of classicism. 3 musical geniuses who have spent much of their life in Vienna, Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn, revived the spirit of old times and musical forms such as sonata, symphony and string quartet. Beethoven has one of the forerunner of romanticism. Romanticism permeates through music, literature and painting and for its development in music are responsible composers such as Schubert, Chopin, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Berlioz and Brahms, as the first set, and then the virtuosos Paganini, List, Wagner, Strauss, Mahler..
